Mission Statement

To create a resilient and empowered community through professional mentorship, career development programs, and access to essential resources. A promise for members to commit to the community and volunteer their free time to give back to the youth - no community is left behind.

La Federación is a small group dedicated to community outreach, mentorship, and a promise. The goal of the group is to empower individuals by connecting them with professionals in various industries, providing them with educational resources, career guidance, and mentorship opportunities. The group will serve as a bridge between underserved communities and professionals across sectors to foster resilience, leadership, and economic empowerment.

 Schools, Youth Sports Orginzations , or Community programs will contact La Federación about our: Mentorship Programs 

Target Group: high school and college students. 

Description: One-on-one and group mentorship sessions led by professionals from industries like healthcare, education, public safety, and business. Objectives: Build relationships between mentors and mentees to provide career advice, networking opportunities, and guidance.

The phrase "La Lucha" highlights the ongoing struggles many Latinos face, including challenges related to economic inequality, access to education, and career pathway.

"La Lucha" is a deeply ingrained concept in Latino culture, often linked to historical movements for civil rights and social justice. By using this phrase, the motto builds a sense of resilience, reminding community members of their historical strength and capacity to persevere in difficult times. 

Cultivating Future Leaders

Develop leadership skills in youth and community members, fostering a new generation of Latinos who are empowered to continue advocating for social change. Encourage young Latinos to see themselves as advocates for their community, reinforcing a sense of responsibility and leadership.

La Federación is a volunteer group that provides professionals the opportunity to give back to their local community.   Join our team of dedicated volunteers who can  make a positive impact.  A network of friends that take the promise to help each other and the community.

Meetings will be held at local cafe shops to show support and network.  

 It symbolizes faith, commitment, unity, and a promise.  A promise to give back to the community. 

The front features a traditional luchador mask, which is often associated with strength, resilience, and the spirit of "lucha" (struggle or fight). This aligns well with the phrase "La Lucha es por la Comunidad" (The Fight is for the Community), highlighting La Federación's dedication to uplifting the community. The surrounding latino flags represent a wide array of cultures, symbolizing diversity and inclusivity within the Latino community. The text “Outreach, Mentorship, and a Promise” further reinforces the organization’s commitment to supporting others.

The back uses the American flag with symbols like the cross and flame, which represents faith, passion, and the drive for progress. The phrase "God - Country - Familia y Comunidad" (God - Country - Family and Community) captures the values La Federación stands for, and the text around the edge, “Culture + Resilience = Leadership,” ties together the organization's mission.
